I am Mike Palmer, the founder of Simple Dignity Memorial Pet Urns.
I started this company with the intent of providing a simple, attractive
and affordable
alternative
to traditional factory made cremation urns.
Most quality wooden urns are made by the same companies that
make urns for human cremains and therefore tend to be priced
above
a point at which many people
feel comfortable spending for their pets.
Life is expensive these days, and
while we want to be able to give our
good pet friends a fine resting place we have to
be realistic and
responsible with how we spend our money as well.
That is how we will keep it. We love our pets, and we know that you do
too. We want
anyone who likes our urns to be able to afford one.
Our urns are strong and sturdy and beautiful to look at. The design is
simple and clean
and when displayed on a bookshelf they look just like a small framed photograph.
They
are not
elaborate or highly decorated and we
don't offer brass plaques with names and dates.
I can tell you that when you seal the photo and
cremains inside your urn
it will give you a
good feeling. It is a solid and secure vessel. When you see it on your shelf you will remember
your good
friend and before long, the feelings will likely be good and happy rather than sad
and
lonely as the probably are right now.
